Once you find Uber Duriel, you're going to be in for quite the fight. However, be on the lookout as Uber Duriel is waiting for you somewhere. Since you've fought versions of them previously while working through Act II, they likely won't be much of a challenge. Inside, you'll find tons of Act II monsters, including several unique and champion enemies. Uber Duriel is found in the Forgotten Sands, which is a copy of the Canyon of the Magi area from Act II. We'll list some general strategies below to help out with each of them. These fights are tougher than their normal versions, so come prepared for a fight. Inside these three portals, you'll face off against either Uber Duriel (Forgotten Sands), Uber Izual (Furnace of Pain), or Lilith (Matron's Den). Also, make sure you move a bit in Harrogath before opening a new portal so that they don't accidentally stack. It also just makes it a much cleaner process to do it all at once. We recommend getting together all nine keys and opening the three portals in the same game so that you don't accidentally open the same portal twice. This will create a portal to one of the locations where the lesser Uber bosses reside. Put three keys into the Horadric Cube and transmute them. With at least three keys (one from each boss) in hand, it's time to start opening your first portals. You can have more than one of each type of key, so we recommend running each boss until you have all three keys you need from them to save some time. And, since you need at least three keys from each mini-boss, it's likely going to take quite a bit of time to amass all nine keys. Unfortunately, the chance of getting a key to drop from these three is relatively low. To get these keys you need to fight three different agents of the Prime Evils in Hell difficulty. Having all three keys lets you open up a portal to fight one of the lesser Uber bosses, so you actually need three sets of the three Minor Keys for nine keys total. Before you can start the event, you need to acquire several keys that let you open a portal to Uber Tristram.Īs mentioned above, you need six total keys, but you'll first need the three Minor Keys. One of these is the Pandemonium Event, which pits players against Uber versions of some of the strongest bosses in the game. However, there are a few challenges for players ready to test their mettle against the toughest tasks Diablo II has to offer.
